Hello all,

Made it to the forum. Well I have owned a Peugeot206CC for just over 8 days now and I love it to bits.

Only criticism so far is that you have to be a bit of a contortionist to get the seatbelt and I keep bumping the edge of the door against the inside of the garage wall. Other than that, hunky dorey.

Hiya Lady mxenna

Welcome

Had the same problem as you with the door of my CC banging against my garage wall. In then end tacked a bit of hardboard to the garage wall where my CC door opens - now if it does bang against the wall it doesn't cause any damage to the door or paintwork.

Happy CC'ing :)

Poly tiles not very tough will fall to peices after a few knocks.

We got a piece of pine board screwed to the wall. But any sheet material Ply, MDF, hardboard, Flooring vinyl will do the job. The trick is to buy something the right size to avoid cutting and to fix with "no nails" type glue ( if you choose a heavy/thick board ou may need masonary nails to hold it in place while glue sets)

Alternatively fix a large peice of pipe insulation to your car door with gaffer tape

That was your practical tip for the day folks

Excellent idea Amanda and others. Going to go with a piece of carpet glued to the wall - should work. I am going to love it in this forum. Such wonderful advice!!

Now all I need to do is to wait for my car manual to arrive in English so I can continue a more intimiate examination of my car. ;)

Hi Jo - Slap bang in the middle of Staffordshire - about 14 miles from Stoke and 16 miles from Wolverhampton.

Well as part of my job I travel from School to School. Today has been the first time that I have been able to put the top down. It was a 36 mile round trip and boy did I enjoy the sensation!
