Peugeot Warranty

I know, it's been mentioned this not too long ago but I want to make it clear one more time. I recently asked the major distributor of Peugeot in Greece (LION HELLAS S.A.) how long the warranty for the mechanical parts is. They claim, the warranty of the mechanical parts is 2 years ONLY for the vehicles that have been invoiced after the 1st of June 2002! These instructions were given by AUTOMOBILES PEUGEOT.
How can this be true? Till now, I knew all vehicles which are being delivered since 1/1/02, they have 2year warranty. The european community and its legislation doesn't make any exception on what country car will be delivered.
Please I wish to know more about this so as to go to law. :rolleyes:
