Wow! What a fantastic day :D I hope we weren't missing anyone in the convoy this morning  ? Nigel/Vince/Greg S?

The weather was perfect for drying your clothes out after two goes on the Tidal Wave  I think we need some awards... in addition to the most dedicated owner - congrats for that one Lyndon 8)

It's a very close one between Julia and Erm as to who took the most sh*t - Rob's joke, I must confess - if it was mine, it'd be much better :D !!!

Howsabout "who travelled the combined most miles for attending both meets this year" award (excluding the mini Reading meet, which was just an excuse for a trip to the pub)? That's the serious idea - any more suggestions anyone?

Or maybe who got stuck on the M25 the longest? Or the most LOST tee hee (baaaaa-d joke, sorry)? Or who left her hazzards on for the furthest? Oh I win that one! D'oh!

Anyway, roll on the next one, had a great day (again) thanks everyone. Pauline

Well said Pauline!
I was waiting to see who would be home 1st to post! Hope Erms isn't going the wrong way home! I didn't direct him so he should be ok!!! :?

Thanks everyone for coming! I think we had 16 CCs again which was the same number as the 1st meet! Shame a few faces didn't show (hope they werent the ones going the other way when we saw them on the 1st convoy!)

Nice to put some more names to faces! (Still missed a few of you out!)

The weather was kind to us today and Thorpe Park was a great day out!
To all the Aussies - photos will follow! There should be some goodens!

Hope you all had a safe journey and thanks to all who drove a fair way!

I think erm got home OK, I escorted him all the way to the potters bar turn off on the M25, I don’t think he could have got lost from there. :)
(Good luck tomorrow erm)
The traffic was heavy but not as bad at looked at first.

Who got lost?
Well after having to volunteer to lead the south mimms convoy I had trouble finding my way out of the car park.
Then lead them all the wrong way at Staines
I blame William, he should have been navigating.
Still, we got there in the end.

Thanks everyone for a great day and for putting up with William.
Especially Rob who doesn’t like kids apparently.

Some photos on their way to Lyndon.

How about most eventfull trip on the way back ....
Had to pull out of convoy as we left because of a huge noise under back wheel arch .. i thought the wheel was coming off. After inspection all seemed ok so reckon it's just a case of a big stone trying to fit between tyre and wheel arch (not much room there when you run 18's

Get lost trying to get out of staines ....

AND stopped at the services to grab a drink .... and some very dosy ol dear decides to reverse into my car :x (NOT HAPPY) I'm shouting at her as she reversing toward the car, as she realise's it's her I'm shouting at to stop BANG so i run to the car .... and after a very though inspection everything is ok and i let her off ... ( i won't go into details as to what I said during this encounter, suffice to say my mum would be getting the soap out)

But other than that wot a great day. Good to see everyone again and meet some new faces to, allthough I think next time we shall have to get a group photo !!! and hopefully one of Erm and Ewenice together.
Angry Paul !

Yes great to meet you all yesterday. Like Jim I have a very long shopping list of things I want for my car now
The topless convoy from South Mimms in the fog took some beating.
Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you in Thorpe Park but my mate was a bit shy.
I'll come on my own to the next meet

I enjoyed it too Great day out photos on the way hopefully. I took a long time to dry out after my second go on the Tidal Wave. The Collossus and detonator were cool aswell. I wish my camera battery was stronger as I would have tried to take a Group photo. can't wait till the next meet
