Here is a link for the Bazooka Bass tube (powered sub in the shape of a tube)
i have one in the trunk that fits perfectly under the rear blind for the roof

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/shop/ac ... es_62.html

they are great, especially the powered ones
you can just run a small cable from one of the 2 rear speakers to it and a power cable from the battery and it rocks!

btw when you use these tube do you still have to have 5 channel amp?
Coz i only have 4 channel amp already, which already run the 2 front and 2 rear. Also these tube are amp built in. So any comment?

They have powered ones and unpowered ones
the one i have is the powered 8" one
so in your case if you get the powered one you can still use the 4 channel amp you have for the front and rear speakers and the bazooka uses it's own amp
not sure about the newer models but mine is 80 watts rms and if you turn it up it is very loud! You need powerful bass if you want to hear it when you have the roof open

your 4 channel amp is already powering 4 speakers
so if you get an unpowered bazooka it won't have any empty channels to drive it. If you get the powered one it will work fine as it already has an amp built in
so to summarise
unpowered won't work with if you want to run it from your current amp
powered one will work

i installed mine in the trunk
check out the pictures

http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/owners/074-15.html
it fits perfectly and doesn't come in the way of the roof mechanism
and sounds great, and mine is the older one with 80watts rms
yours i think is louder than that

I WISH it was wax!
that's what your rear bumper looks like when some idiot tries to sandpaper it to remove some paint spots!
i kept it cuz i am getting one of those reversing detectors and i will have to drill the rear bumper anyway to install the sensors
so i thought i would first try drilling holes in this one cuz it's damaged anyway
then if it looks good i will replace it with a new one and will have more experience drilling the holes in the right place
as for how i strapped the bazooka in
it was a very comlicated thing
i got a short metal rod about 12 inches long that was attahced to the small belt that holds the whole motor for the roof
and then i got 2 long pieces of velcro that loop around the metal rod and around the bazooka and hold it in place
if you don't want to do all that
you can hold it with 2 straps that are attached to a small piece of thin wood that is below the carpet
all you need to do is just to stop it rolling, it won't move around much anyway cuz it;s heavy, but it can roll around
or you can use the holes for the strapes for the tire puncture kit and the jack and put the bazooka lengthways not like i did

sorry forgot the head unit question
it's a sony MDX-8900 minidisc head unit connected to a sony XDP-U50D surround sound/time alignment processor and a sony T70 mp3 changer and a sony t67 cd changer and a MDX-62 Minidisc changer
the changers fit under the front seats and the processor is under the front seat attached to the bottom of the seat cushion

Ah good old Sony mini-disc

I used to have an mdx 5970 in my old 206 (Lower model than yours, but newer so almost exactly the same spec, apart from i had one or two extra features, but couldnt swap the display between green and amber) But left it behind when i sold the car to my mum (or gave it away more like - Y reg 1.4 Lx, front fogs, low miles, sony mini-disc, sony cd changer £6100!!!!!!!!!) And i owed her a grand anyway so i only actually got £5k from the deal! - i basically said the finance is £6K so just give me that, plus give me a hundred quid for the stereo coz i want an excuse to buy a new one (old 646 changer doesnt have custom file cd text) Needless to say i now have the sodding standard cd player in still!

As for securing thinge in the boot, should be very similar to installing boot changers - find a safe place to put a hole and just drill it! Then you can just use the brackets which surely come with the base tube
