When I saw the title of this I thought it meant "where are all the CC drivers who are happily driving their CCs around without any problems" as opposed to the general doom & gloom about quality, faults and dealers.

Well, where are they? Is there anyone who hasn't had problems?

My 1.6 Auto is due in mid-March and I'm having serious doubts about it, wondering whether to cancel etc. I've had two Nissans in the last 7 years which never went to the dealer except for annual services

Is there any good news out there?

yepp... Here is a happy driver... drive every day with a big  and enjoy all the comments from my collegs and my friends. My problems, if you can call them that, are minor and will be corrected at the first service. My small leak I dont bother to do anything with before the summer is gone, so this is no problem for me... I would have bought it again and will advice everyone to by one. It is so unbelivible fun to drive, even with the roof on. So Yes, Im HAPPY!!!!

) Happy with the car? Yes, definitely.)

Faults so far? Just the short circut (?) on the driver's window switch which opens it spontainiously. It's disconnected until they sort it out next week.

It'll mean driving a 106 all day though.

Hello!

I have been driving Citroen 2CV for several years. And for 2CV's every owner i smiling, waving and/or flashing lights when they meet.

So after changing my 2CV with a new 206cc a few months ago, I'm eagerly looking for other 206cc owners so that I can wave to them. But unfortunately there are not so many 206cc's around here (Bergen, Norway), so now I am so desperat that I am nearly stating to wave to ordinary 206's....

I'll be in an aegean blue cc, what colour is yours? There are a fair few of us around but I'm the only one who flashes their lights and waves

I'm sure there'll be more 'flashers' as the weather improves, temperatures rise and more people drive 'topless' (ooh err missus).

As it is I find it very difficult to differentiate between an ordinary 206 and a CC untul it is almost too late to do anything.

most of the CC drivers up north are grumpy, an occasional few wave however. must admit i have no complaints with leaks or problems, despite the rainy northern weather. lucky me eh? ;)

Duncs!

Where have you been? What do mean grumpy northern CC drivers? Not this one. By the way not all northern weather is rainy only on the wrong side of the pennines!

P.S. Glad to see you back - thought you must have sold out!

Hi,

Your Quedgeley sighting could be me, either that or another girl I know who works on the Bristol Road and owns one too. I live in Hucclecote but venture down that way sometimes. Hope to see you around!!

Duncs,

Had loads of topless driving considering the weather. Got a wee leak (bound to happen!) which is hopefully finally getting sorted out next week. Life is OK and according to the old saying about life beginning at 40 I should be OK as that happens on Sunday (oh no!). No grey hairs yet though. CC must have been mid life crisis car. A friend said his brother in law did the same but bought a Porsche. Called it his 'Menoporsche'!
