PS I recommend MSF for colour coding work - they did my bumpers, side stfips and also Ecosse vents for 200 quid all in, and a good job they did of it too!

ello MattB

How have you got on with MSF Leeds.

I dont know if you have read some of my posts regarding the problems I have had with the car and MSF but it was not until I sent a letter to the sales director and area service manager threatening to reject the car did they pull their finger out. :(

Now I get an excellent service from them :D

Nice to know about colour coding my car with them, my CC is black so Im not sure if Im going to bother getting it done or not.

If your down there any time and see a Black CC with a 4inch devil tailpipe, black red leather interior, thats mine, unfortunatley it spends a lot of its time down at MSF so you will probably see it.

Hi Sam,

Sales were very good (as always!!!) although they were a bit tight with trade-in of my 106.

I've had no major problems with my CC, just a host of niggly problems (squeaks, rattles, vibrations, bits missing, dodgy trip counter) which means it's been in twice already (got the car late December) and will need another visit in a few weeks time.

The biggest grumble I have is that they can never get me a courtesy car. Seeing as I work 20 miles away from the garage, this is a right pain in the arse for me!!!

And no, I wouldn't bother about colour coding a black car!!! But if I see yours I'll make sure they're not doing anything nasty with it!

Sam get the black bits colour coded then they will look nice instead of nasty and plasticy!! Sounds it a bit daft but it will make a difference.

Ooooh an MSF mini meet going on I think......

I have the same problems getting a courtesy car from them, it usually takes up to 3 weeks from when I book the car in, I think this is partly (only a small part) responsible for the length of time it has taken to get all my problems fixed.

Saying that, I have had a courtesy car from them on three occasions for over 10 days, so I am getting a littel bit fed up of driving around in 1ltr 206. The only good side is I appreciate my CC more when I get it back.

hehe talk about doing nasty things......last time it was in they bumped my CC into another parked car and left a large dent in passenger side rear qtr pannel, which after they tried getting dentmasters to fix has had to go to a body shop and be resprayed :( , at their expense ofcourse.

I am more and more swaying towards getting the black bits colour coded tbh, I have posted in the styling section for some1 who has had it done on a black CC so I can see what it looks like.

Do you use MSF Leeds also?

Regards

Hi Sam,

No I don't use MSF but Peter Ambrose in Castleford. I have to say they are brilliant. I have always got a courtesy car and don't even have to ask they just presume I want one and have it ready!

Mine is Moonstone and colour coded. Met Mattb at the recent Essex meet. I'm afraid to say I'm getting a reputation for being a mite loopy driving millions of miles to meet other CC owners. I will try and organise a Leeds one sometime though.

Ash Road joins onto the road (forget the name) that the Skyrack pub is on and therefore runs kind of parallel to the Rhinos ground...

Ah yeah I know the one. Were you at uni here then, or just liked living a student life?
