Could anyone with a space saver please advise on the tyre they have been given.

The rim is on the way at £34.83, but the tyre offered is 115/70 R15. This is for the 15" on the 1.6. I know its a space saver, but the diameter seems especially low !.

Please advise urgently as I have to advise the dealer asap.

Thanks in advance
Antoni

This has been answered a couple of times already. The official spec for the space saver (in the latest Peugeot price list @ £54) is 115/70 R15.

I assume you're not talking about the diameter, which is 15" as you can see, but the width of the tyre which is bound to be low since it is a space saver.

They are designed to get you home and drive around until you get your 'proper' tyre fixed/replaced.

I'm thinking he means circumference of the tyre as compared to the original fit ones.

I've just been out and had a look in my boot (the sun's out - any excuse), I've got a Pirelli 115/70 R15 fitted to my spare wheel (Peugeot-supplied space saver).

Thanks to all replies - I did mean the overall diameter and hence circumference of the rim/tyre combination.
I always assumed the space saver concept was for tyre width and hence boot depth saving, I did'nt realise the diameter / circumference was so reduced !! (53.5 mm less on overall diameter),
Seems 115/70 it will be !.

Thanks
