there have been many problems although some people have been luckier than others and not had any or relatively minor ones.
don't let that put you off buying one. what else can you buy for the same money that looks good and has a folding metal roof ??? nothing !
i was one of the unlucky ones and the SE i got in december was junk but the replacement i got 3 weeks ago has been relatively trouble free apart from 1 or 2 small things.
let me know if this has changed your mind.

I agree with Derek and Frosty - go ahead and get one.
I've been the proud owner for almost 2 months and I still shit hot everytime I get in to it.
But then again maybe I've left it out in the sun too long
Not sure where you are from but the CC is a great car for warm/dry climates. Although I haven't got any apparent leaks who would care when you get to drive with the roof down the majority of the time anyway.
Have we 'suckered' you in yet?
Kirk.

I have had mine nearly six months now and have not had any problems or leaks at all. When Rob delivered my windbreak last month, I noticed some of the plastic moulding had started to come away, nothing major but I could not have been with a better person when I discovered it. This is going to be put right when the car goes in for it's first service. I love the car and have a huge grin on my face everytime the temp goes into double figures, cause on the way home from work the automatic button kicks in and the roof comes down. You cannot say that about many cars.

One more thing to add. Driving home tonight I stopped to fill up and there was a big bald biker - he came over and admired the car and we chatted for about 10 minutes. He wants one. I dare anyone to make the "CC's are hairdresser's cars" to him. Then on my way again stopped at a set of lights, recalling that the car previously in front of me that pulled over was now behind me. Guy jumps out of his car and came up to me. He'd never seen a CC in real life and just looked and looked and grinned. I must say my car has a small leak but the drool from this guy was far worse than any amount of water I've seen come from the leak!
Love it! How many other cars out here would get such friendly attention?
Cheers

Its true....
I had some guy pull up by my car when I was cleaning it... He and his kid both got out and asked me questions about it as he was after one..
And the Face on the kid when I allowed him to put the roof down was just sometihng else.....

Don't let all the moaning in this site put you off. People with a problem will always try and see if anyone else has had the same one and see what fixes were done for them.
Looking through all the posts you will see positive comments from the majority of the owners at some time, its just a little bit harder to find.

triumph motorbikes used to rattle themselves to bits, so did ducatis, TVR's still do according to people i know! but no-one has stopped buying them and none of them came cheap!
206cc do come cheap and aren't as bad as any of the above, if you want one BUY ONE we wouldn't swap ours for anything else.
It's great, it looks great, drives great AND it goes like stink for a small car and the admiring looks are just icing on the cake.
