 Well said!

Look Dave, you obviously don't like what Chadd is doing - everyone to their own opinion of course, but the same goes for him, it's his money and how he chooses to spend it is up to him.

Is it necessary to keep jibing? Just leave him to it and let the rest of us look on with interest.
Yummy :)

Yep.

I for one like what Chadds doing.

I love the mods big time. :D :D :D

The only power problem I can forsee is the 206 being front wheel drive, as Jeremy Clarkson has said, its difficult to put more than 250 bhp through FWD because of the mighty difficulty in laying power and steering.

Overall though I think Chadds project is gonna be awsome   :D :D :D :D

if i was gonna spend that much then it would be a porsche boxster or something.

good luck to you but it's not something i would do purely due to the fact that i get bored with any car so quick no matter what it is or how it looks.

what puzzles me is if the car is virtually all different apart from 2 panels is why you used your own CC (Y reg i think), you would have been better buying a smashed CC and save about £10k in the process.

anyway, good luck and have fun :D

I reckon madness is flair synonymous with eccentricity.
Darren you have the vision to turn this project into something great and if it’s in your means then who are we to criticize. You could turn it into a show car and try some sponsoring deals to subsidise the metamorphosis

All due respect but that is an awful lot of money and in the nicest way possible - I think you’re bonkers..
But Well done and enuff respect to you, not everyone has courage to lead us into the modifying scene in such magnitude.
We're all anticipating each step; keep us informed.

I don't think it is fair for someone to come along and call Chadd an idiot.
Comments like that are best left to yourself and not published. It only makes you look more of the idiot.

Not long to go now Darran - keep those pics coming and then let us know when you will take us out for a spin! ;)

Porsche Boxter...mmm I cant think of a worser car to own than a car made for a pompus pr*~k! that car has only one statement....I love myself as I own a porsche! It has no status at all as you can buy them for £25k or less second hand...these days that is nothing considering an Audi TT costs that brand new!

Oh and for modifying a smashed up car...how stupid is that. You could spend what I am spending but then to find out the car would fall apart due to structural damage that would not show til some usage. smashed cars are death traps and I am not buildin a death trap. Its not worth buying a smashed up car as its more money than its worth to put it back safely unless its only the wing which is dented. I have done it to my car as I have had it for a while and wanted to modify it, I have owned the car from new so I am not buying something with somelses problems or a car which has been missed used.!
