I've just rung the helpline to just check the dates on this as mine's a 53, but wanted to be sure - better safe than sorry.

I was asked my registration number (which doesn't show up on their system, so probably ok). Was told it is a pre 02 problem but he wanted to check the car wasn't built before then. More than likely not as a CC, especially as my reg no. not showing, but was told I should ring back with chassis no. or I could just wait for a few months to see if a letter arrived. A few months - I think not :!:

Nah, "Y" reg..

Early "02" 's could be included, depending on final build date..
The only way of confirming that is call the helpline 0845 60 206 206 & quote the Last 8 digits of Ur VIN number or call Ur dealer...

Chadd, Don't worry they have over Qtr of a million cars to modify!

On a serious note the dealer network is under instruction to carry out the modifications to any car that is affected at anytime in the future..

Thats cool then as I dont fancy spending all this money and the brakes failing and writing it off or something.....I think I would suffer from some serious depression!
