Tis I again! Along with the alloys I'm trying to sell, I have also got a 1998, "S" registered Suzuki 600 Bandit S for sale (as I've just bought a new one). I need to move this also quite quickly.

Here are the details of the bike, I need £2250 for it and as I've already dropped the price, but am open to sensible offers.

Pearl Novelty Black Metalic paint
11500 miles
tax June 04
MOT Dec 04
brand new front tyre
"E" marked IXIL after-market can (and original Suzuki pipe will also go with it),
full main dealer FSH.
Datatagged
rear hugger
front extender fender
Clean bike and runs very well.

Some pictures:

If anyone can help I'd be EXTREMELY greatful.

Cheers

Right, done the old preview and tried them, they now work, It's worth looking at and an absolute bargain for this time of the year. Good bike for those getting back into biking or indeed, just passed their test. :D

Have you put it in MCN? You can also submit ads online...

I know it's a bit pricey - what about autotrader? Last time I used that (when I bought my CC!), it was £8.50 for 2 weeks online.

Good luck! Pauline

Pauline,

I've tried everywhere and to now avail. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any bikers left out there at all wanting to buy a bike!

I shall be exploring this avenue again.

Hi there to all again.

As you can see, the Bandit is still sat in my garage looking for a new home.

Drop me a line if the up and coming season sees you without a bike.

It's a great looking bike, you should be able to sell. Any thoughts to putting it in a bike shop on commission? It looks perfect so maybe you have to take a hit in paying commission so as to get to the real buyers at one place and leverage off the shop's advertising magnet. Just a thought

Good luck

Thanks for the compliments on the bike, it is a fab bike and who ever buys it will get a pearla of a bike worth every penny.

I will probably have to put it in a shop at this rate, you've guessed this coming weekends activities already!

Right, I've finally mangaged to sell the Bandit to a nice man up north. I hope he enjoys it so I won't have to do the Brighton thing now thank gawd.

Off for a bit of fun now on the VFR!!!!

Come down of the VFR! is it a 750 or 800? I'll be there on my orange trumpet with my orange lid, orange tube, orange gloves - I'm alittle bit conspicous in my Tango outfit :D

Ho ho ho Lyndon, that's BAKED BEANS! It rained so hard this morning (even though it was sunny at 6.15am when I got up) that we went in the CC and the weather in Brighton was GLORIOUS. Came back topless after lunch and boy oh boy are my cheeks sore - sunburn :D First burn of the year

Pauline, when is the run? I might consider coming down if I'm not too busy.

It's a lovely Black VFR 800. Best bike I've ridden in ages. You can keep yer "plastic projectiles", this is the beasty for me; quick, agile, comfortable and eats miles for breakfast and after you get off, you don't look like a praying mantis until your spine clicks back into place!

I'll probably upset a lot of people here, but what's the point of a 206 CC. I've never had such an unpleasant drive in a car before, but the CC went straight to the top of the list. Plasticky, rattles and shakes and performed about as well as a damp tissue and as for road holding, no I won't go there......

Sorry, just not my cup of tea I'm afraid. I can think of better toys. You have to admit, it's a bit of a hairdressers car isn't it?

If you could let me know the dates of the Brighton run, I may pay you a visit.
