Sorry to hear about your dad Pete, and I hope your mum gets better soon Lyndon.
Fortunately I've not had any deaths in my family, but I'm sure its going to come within the next few years. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to see it happen but healthwise it may. My dad has heart disease and my gran doesnt keep to well. But fingers crossed it wont come to that.
Mums good friend has just found out she has breast cancer, which is quite upsetting.
I had a wee incident Thursday night where i almost choked myself to death. Was very serious but everyone laughs when i tell them
nice people!
I used to be on a Vauxhall website, and lots of people crashed cars and so on. As much as I love my CC, and im sure you all love your cc's (apart from derek - lol) remember that they are tin cans on wheels, that lives are more important. But chin up, life goes on, we gotta live life to the full.

sorry to hear your news lyndon
laptop is very close to being sent for repair so i haven't been online for the last week. when i read the first post it was sad news but seemed to be becoming very good until i read about her relapse. i hope she picks up and keep your spirits up mate although it isn't easy at times like this.
the same goes for all other members that have posted about family illnesses past and present.
my papa had cancer and his last few weeks were painful to watch as he deteriorated pretty quickly. he spent his last 2 weeks in hospital and he hated it so they let him out for the weekend to spend at home. i took him back in on the monday morning with my aunt and hated leaving him as he didn't want to be there. the next day my mum phoned me at 1.15pm in a panic as the hospital had phoned to say he had become very ill and there was a chance he would die before we got to the hospital. i raced through to get my mum and another aunt to take them to the hospital while another family member picked up my gran (that was when by 2nd splitter got destroyed on speed bumps but this time it didn't matter as getting to the hospital was more important. i was so happy to be on holiday that week or there would have been no one to take them. we got there and i dropped them off at the entrance then ran up after parking the car to see him looking not good but alive and the nurses said they gave him a fright and he had picked up very well. things were looking up and i saw him again that night during visiting. i left him looking forward and hoping to watch rangers play man utd in the champions league which i was going to the next night - we were hoping he would be well enough to watch it.
then the worst happened and half an hour after getting to sleep i got a call at 12.30am to say he had died - 22nd october 2003. the only good thing was that he died in his sleep and most of his family had visited him that night and he was no longer in pain but it was hard to take as things were looking more promising only hours earlier.
now he is buried down the road from where i live which is a consolation to know he isn't far away.
