Lyndon, further to our earlier correspondence I just wanted to say that I am still praying for your mum and the family. You have many friends both near and far that care about you, and are all thinking of you, your mum and the family.
Cheers

hiya lyndon!

Not been on here much and only just read ur post!

So sorry to hear about ur mum!

Im also a nurse in intensive care so if u need any questions answered that you dont wanna ask ur mums nurses gimmie a shout!

I also can totally relate to you! Just last month my cousin was in intensive care too! I hated being on the other side, I think Im a good nurse but being a relative made me see things so much different and I learnt alot from that experience! My cousin was in ITU for 2weeks and has now made a full recovery! So stick in there hunni!

Best wishes kirsty x

Best wishes to everyone who's having a sh*t time right now.

My Nan gave me a hefty contribution to get my CC last year, she loved it, thought it was a proper head turner and had a fair few spins in it.
When she gave me the money, she insisted I bought something *frivolous* with it.....

She had a brief spell in hospital last September, when she came out she complained she was fed up of being indoors, hubby took the CC, dropped the roof and whizzed her down the A52!

I remember her walking up the path, laughing her head off, she said to me "That was medicine money can't buy".

Sadly she died on 21st November last year.

I hope this doesn't sound naff, but I always think of her when I've got the roof down and I'm whizzing along.

Sammy
Doesn't sound naff at all Sammy, the reason I could afford this car is due to my grandad, he knew I was looking at buying one just before he died and I bought the car out of my inheritance. I knew he would have approved and I named my car Ken after him

As for your mum Lyndon she's come good once mate, she'll do it again, keeping my fingers crossed

the good news is there's a slight improvement and she's holding her own so to speak :D :D :D :D

they have drained some fluid off and send a sample for test, they think it might not be a infection but glad they got it out all the same.

so the waiting game goes on but think it might be on the up again :D
