Sorry, this has probalby been asked a million times before but doing a search doesnt seem to help me!

I want to replace the seat hoops and want to know which ones people generally think look the best, chrome or alluminium. Are the chrome ones solid or just plated, ie will the chrome start to chip off?

Also, are they easy to fit yourself or am i going to have to take it back to a garage for yet more pricely modification costs!

Have had it totally color coded, vents sprayed replaced and sprayed up, wheel arches fitted, spoiler fitted and clear fog light fitted oh and front light quad conversion. Now I want to do the following -

hoops
rear brake light replaced with the clear one
rear light conversion similar to the front lights, those sprayed up 3d light thingys!
front mesh.

More bloody expense!

I chose the Aluminium hoops as I had the aluminium sports grille and aluminium sports vent on bonnet. Also seamed to go better with the cayman green colour I have.

They are easy to fit. My boyfriend and me did ours. The back seats pull forward (pull gently from top of seat) and you will see the screws etc. You then can unscrew and put the new ones in.

Now I'm going to sound really daft, but what is the difference? I bought hoops when I bought the car and I thought they were chrome, but now I don't know. They are very silver and very shiny!

Are there any pictures I can see?

Thanks.

chrome hoops are very shiny so that is what u will have. the brushed alu are a kinda matt finish like the interior bits of ur car.
