Matt - Wed 20th is fine with me. Name a time and place and I'll be there.
Tracey - what goes around comes around and that definitely applies to the weather more than any other thing. Us poor Aussies have been huddled under our roofs with the heat turned up whilst you lot have been cavorting about with your roofs down without a care in the world ! Hehe - now it's our turn !
Liane - better hit that solarium. Gotta look the part in these cars ! Also, who's asking who to stop with the mods ? DVD player ? Colour coded seats and sub ??? Ummm, HELLO !!!
sydney cc owners, where r u??

Os - are we all being invited to the wedding ?
Will there be a CC line up as part of the wedding procession ???
I've seen a Mini line up as part of a wedding procession in Hong Kong on a Mini website. These weren't the new Mini's - they were all original shaped Mini's ! I'm getting one as soon as I have spare cash (whenever that ever happens ! )
Okay Liane - you can have chromed hoops ! (I don't want you practising your tkd on any of us )
Let Huu pick this time as it will be more likely to work in for Os. Maybe I'll pick a place next time.

Agreed, BUT...bet you Aussies won't spend most of your summer with the roof up as we had to this year (it felt like it anyway)! I'm just bitter and twisted and extremely enviousTracey - what goes around comes around and that definitely applies to the weather more than any other thing. Us poor Aussies have been huddled under our roofs with the heat turned up whilst you lot have been cavorting about with your roofs down without a care in the world ! Hehe - now it's our turn !
Life's too short to drive around with your roof up.

Huu - OMG! You're lucky you didn't run into a Lexus or Porsche salesman. Lucky for you it was only a Mercedes salesman calling the shots and spending your money. lol
Os - your call re: Wed 20th as per Huu.
Liane - you sub box man has been sacked ?!? ?? Now what are you going to do ?
Tracey - today we had a 40 degree day ! This is a new record for October in Sydney. Aparently, the previous record was 37.4 degrees in 1859. According to the weatherman, 40 degrees is 16 degrees above the average for October.
I actually put a car cover over my car today whilst I was at work mostly 'cos I was concerned about plastic rear parcel shelves, etc warping in the heat - something I've read a bit about on this forum.
The car still felt like an oven at the end of the day and the temp thingy in the centre console said it was 40 degrees still at 5:30 this evening. I put the roof down when I drove off, but ended up puttting it back up in traffic on the way home (thank God for the CMC40 !!!
) so as to give the A/C a chance to do some good .
I have to say the A/C works a treat, but I guess it really only has to cool a tiny cabin. I had it set at 14 degrees for about 15 minutes. After a little longer I had to crank the temp up to 20 degrees 'cos my hands were actually getting frozen. lol
