Hi guys and girls
Just joined today and must say after spending 4 hours reading posts, looking at pics, getting jealous, getting peed off with the availablity of equipment everywhere else, I have only one question at this stage.
I am replacing my front and rear speakers, when opening everything up I do see that nothing is marked thus I do not know which wire is positive and which is negative. So I have for the time being just made sure that all the solid colored wires go to positive and the striped to negative. How these line up with what is pos and neg on the HU I dont know. Any advice appreciated.
Will post pics soon, as soon as I have anything remotely comparable to what is here.
thanx
Cheers

When looking down on the OEM speaker (magnet end) at the terminal they have marked 2 (-) and 1 (+) or on the OEM plastic terminal of the wire plug 1 (+) and 2 (-).
To test polarity get the OEM speaker, connect low voltage to it (1.5 volt battery is ok). When correctly connected + to + and - to - the cone should move out (forward).
