The New Guy Has a 6x9 Question...

Hey, I'm wondering if i can fit 6x9's to my 206cc..I never thought i could, so i fitted door speakers and tweeters..but ive heard it is posssible, can some1 fill me in on where i can purchase a shelf, or even instructions on how to make one....??

I've heard that some people have fitted 6x9's to the windstop. Do a search on the forum for further information. :)

Fitting it to the windstop would definitely be the easiest place without going to a LOT of trouble.

One pic I saw had the interior of both doors remodelled to make way for bigger speakers. From memory, he'd used fibreglass and then covered it over with leather upholstery. Another guy had remodelled the whole of the back seat area to accommodate bigger speakers - also with fibreglass. A lot of work, but stunning results.
