MPH Indicator

This is my first cc 2002 , 1600cc, 24k miles,silver. Ive had it now for 2 weeks & I love it the car as well. On the display it used to show what MPH i was doing and for some reason the display has changed to 1>> 1215 , the last four digits vary from time to time but i cant seem to get the MPH display back.
This is driving me nuts can anyone please help??? :? :?

I had the same sort of problem, as I was told, use the button on the end of the windscreen wiper stick. press it and the mph changes. Worked for me!
