January 04 I was given a luggage rack by Pug in compensation for probs with my engine. In fact a new engine was installed after over £1500 of parts were changed. Then the computer kept imobolizing the engine, the alarm kept going off, the windows stuck open, the air bag was faulty, trim was loose, and something about airpollutions joined in to assist my nervous breakdown. And it went on and on and on until I received a new car after being nearly killed on a fast dual carriage way with an imobilized engine and no hard-shoulder or pavement to escape off doing 60 in the outside lane. (My luggage rack was moved from the faulty car to the new 206cc and they carted the car off on a low-loader. )
This luggage rack is just over a year old and is now corroding and has white power on it. Has anyone had this problem. Being compensation I don't know if I have a leg to stand on to replace it.
My new 206cc by the way is beautiful and perfect. Peugeot did replace my rogue cc and the garage owned up they'd never had one like it.
