Hi All,

toying with the idea of a car sticker.

<IMG SRC="http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/pictures/sticker-idea.jpg">

the above colour is only a sample, you peel of the backing paper then stick on the inside of the rear window hence the logo being reversed

rough size 28.5cm x 2.6cm

the cost i'm looking for is £2.50 inc P+P (in the UK)

please post your thoughts here.

Cheers

Lyndon

Hi Lyndon,

I think your idea is very good. But i would prefer a smaller sticker with perhaps some design on it!
The way it is right now reminds me of an advertisement....
I definetaly wouldnt stick it in the present form!

good idea, my thoughts:

- white text on dark blue background
- try to get the official peugeot font somewhere

Rear window - Hmmm what about in the summer when the roof is down ??? It wouldnt be seen...
What about in the front window like I've done on my car...

Doesnt obscure the view when driving.

Sorry Lyndon, but no. I wouldnt drive around with that sticker. Maybe a smaller one placed a discret place (back side window maybe). But maybe then it would bee pointless ???

when in austria i saw an owner's club chrome badge (for VW's) which attached to the rear of the car near the marque badge. it was some 70's disco motif, and could be attached to the rear. basically not as tacky as a sticker, and very distinctive. an idea worth considering?

I really think Dun's suggestion has a lot of merit!

Yeah a nice shiny emblem sounds good. Although I think the aim was to generate more traffic through the website. Perhaps getting tax disk holders or something similar would be an idea, or even the sunshades for the windscreen.

A bit smaller would be better plus I think it should carry some clue to what the web site is, e.g. 'Owner's Club', etc.

Also, the writing needs to be the other way around...

how about a small sticker that goes on your number plate and covers up your dealers name. Why should the bad dealers get free advertising

I like the original one bit much smaller to fit onto the bottom of the back window and maybe a different colour text. I dont fancy driving around with a boy racer style sun visor.
