Help Needed please

hi all

I am new memeber here. Just bought my girl friend a 206 CC 2001 model and she loves it to bits.

The problem i have is with the gearbox, it's really lose when in centre. Also does not change as smoothly as her old fiesta.

the gears seems really long changing from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third, and sometimes when in 5th and wanting to change to 4th it feels like we going into reverse.

Is this normal on these cars?

One more problem is the clutch, it seems that the bitting point is really high is this also normal?

hi beemarman and welcome to the world of topless driving!

i changed from a fiesta to a 206cc and it took me a while to get used to the gearbox and the biting point as well.

had mine 2.5 years and still love it to bits. shame you haven't got the weather to get the full benefit but it will be worth the wait
