Take it from someone whos removed their hoops. They do not magically rise up. They are secured in there with a couple of bolts. Ten minute job to take them out and slot a shiny pair in. My mate spent 250 quid on his from Peugeot and I spent 30quid on mine and side by side they look identical. dont waste your money on Peugeots stuff, you'll just get ripped off!

I've read previous posts on how to fit hoops, but are the rear seat backs easy to remove. I've tried grabbing and pulling up but they don't seem to move. Am I doing something wrong.
The reason I'm trying to remove the backs is to check if they're fitted correctly, as passenger side one is literally almost hard up against the rear window, you can just get a thin piece of card between them. I'm wondering if this is the cause of an annoying rattle whilst driving, when plastics flex etc.

They are fitted quite securely, you just have to pull the seat up and over the fixing clips on the rear. IIRC I found it harder to get them back on than get them off. You might be better following the second method shown in the link in my post #17.Blue1.6S wrote:I've read previous posts on how to fit hoops, but are the rear seat backs easy to remove. Probably best to start a new thread in future rather than tag onto an existing one or your post may get missed
