They are linked. That is what BSI is for. It allows different systems to communicate.

Its the black one 2002-2009. Manual number is 4613. Covers the cc but only the 2.0 16v engine not the 1.6.

I expect the 1.6 engine would be covered in a separate standard 206 manual.

Cant think why it doesnt beep when you try the switch then. I have a shorted speed sensor circuit so the car thinks its moving even when parked with the handbrake on so keeps disabling the roof for safety, which is really annoying, ive even tried it with the speedo unplugged and still same thing pp2000 saying speed sensor but when i try the switch it does beep.

typically my day off work but the pp2000 still hasnt arrived , i went up to the breakers got a window/mirror switch just in case, but still no windows or mirror electrics, if i end up going down the bsi/ecu/transponder etc route i need a set off the same doner car , i assume both the ecu and bsi need to match part numbers off mine?
EDIT : just called a breakers who has a few 206cc's and he says as long as the bsi /ecu are same make rather than matching numbers, but he also says its not likely to be the fault, maybe ill wait till my software etc comes then try again
