Got me stumped.....

Just an update....I removed the coil pack and spark plugs...(plugs were wet and black...and number 1 and 4 spark plugs had the tip of the plugs missing? The gap was about 2mm....no wonder it wouldn't fire??? Obviously had no maintainance done by the last owner.

So off to factors..4x new plugs and run it up....NOT...still dead..checked resistance of coil pack..and absolutely no readings anywhere...each terminal on connector to each plug fitting...and between each terminal on connecting plug....still Nowt????

Off to factors...Lucas coil pack purchased and fitted.....1st turn of key and away she went...and SO SMOOTH TOO! Wow what a difference!

So strip out again and cam belt kit done inc water punp and another bout of summer coolant/anti freeze.

An expensive week so far...but some brownie points earnt...things all harmonious in our household again (wife very happy) until next time!
