Derek,

How come it took 9 days, they have asked to see mine for the day and booked me a courtesy car. Do you think I may have their car a little longer?

My dealer isn't the quickest by the look of things. If you are looking to get your car fixed right, use my dealer and plan to have their courtesy car for a few months.

p.s. they are getting my car back on tuesday again - i'll tell them tomorrow !

Derek,

My CC went to the dealer yesterday at 9am. After your post I didn't think I would be getting it back the same day. Well -

The cigarette lighter works
The interior light now works on manual
The glove box light works (1.6S)
Hopefully the antipollution fault and the leak are ok but only time will tell!

Also I didn't know there was supposed to be a light in the ashtray but there is and that is working now aswell.

The car was ready by 3pm!

Hope this bodes well for the future.

Burge

P.S. Dealer is Peter Ambrose Ltd in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

don't mind how long they take burge as it is keeping my mileage down (do 20k p.a.) and also it isn't summer. also if i end up rejecting it, the time they have had the car will help my cause.

Dealer is Donald Duck, Tollcross Edinburgh.

About the "Antipollution fault" : It occured also to my display about 2 times. But i ve noticed that everething is ok if you don't
start the engine immediately, but wait for about 2 secs, until all the warning yellow lights (Airbag, ABS,oils, etc) are off !!!
This means that you must turn the key in the pre-last position, wait for 1/2 secs, and then turn on the engine.

Thanks for that Alexandros I'll try that as since going to the dealer it has started to re-occur.

I am getting the 'Anti pollution fault' ONLY when the roof is open. Strange isn't it?
