42 and just back from two weeks surfing in Newquay! Weather was gr8, surf was up, only thing missing was my new CC! (Only had it a week and had to leave it behind (sob) as wife, 4 kids and 2 weeks luggage don't fit).

But back now and loving every minute. Forget Led Zep, I've got Steve Harley and Bryan Ferry on my CD  .

OK AxsMan - 42 and still counting. We're still the oldest as far as I can see. And our gallant leaders haven't posted a prize yet for the oldest cc member. Shame.

Don't talk to me about kids - I have a son who's 6'3" ..... I haven't tried to fit him into the back yet. Could be a laugh.

The good news (about being such an old codger) is that the kids musical taste is coming full circle back to the stuff I used to love. My oldest two (13) are both getting into Bob Marley! Now I get to borrow ( and scratch!) THEIR CD's

(Still have to suffer through Blink 182 though  )

I let my dad have a go in my SE after I'd only had it a week. He's 73 and he threw it round the Derbyshire backroads with an insane grin on his face while I sat white-knuckled in the passenger seat trying to look relaxed and not notice how high he was revving it! He stopped short of handbraking it round the gravel strewn bends but only just!

I MIGHT let him have another go when he's grown up and steadied down a bit

(Give him his dues though, he kept it between the ditches at some very naughty speeds indeed!)

P.S. His opinion was 'Nice handling and fair bit of grunt once it gets going' what can I say?

Yep sod em all. I find that my car has no shortage of female admirers. One obsessed fan even has a poster of one above her bed
