The spanner thingy is the mileage to the next service .... but it baffles me. You can change the display by hitting the buttons on the instrument panel (2 buttons next to speedo and tacho. Got mine to show the trip meter, but it was a random button-pushing exercise.

Yep - sign us up for a mini meet in Garforth!

Don't worry Buggsy have had my roof down every month since last November even at 5 degrees C at 8am on sunday morning driving to top side of Harrogate. Well the sun was glorious and if you keep on the move the warm air stays in the cabin especially with a windstop (a must!!) fitted. Got my CC from Peter Ambrose on Methley Road. Had fantastic customer service so far.

Car is on Drayton Manor pictures, pictures at the bottom of the page 2nd down and 2nd in from the left. At the time only had grill and colour coded bonnet vents but now have bumpers also. Side rubbing strips next then twin headlight conversion I think.

Don't worry about the spanner, seems to be common on imports - the details to get rid of it are on the Pugsportgti website (can't remember the address but... here's the text)...

To change the Service Interval

--- Switch off the ignition
--- Press and Hold the mileometer button situated to the right/bottom of the Rev counter
--- Switch on the ignition

The display will begin a 10 second countdown.

--- Release the button before the countdown finishes
--- The service interval is displayed
--- Each brief press of the button alternates the setting
--- When the required service interval is displayed, press the button for 10 seconds to confirm Zero Reset (Remove "Spanner" symbol)
Your Peugeot dealer will carry out this operation after each service.
However, if you carry out the service yourself, the reset procedure is as follows.

--- Switch off the ignition
--- Press and hold the mileometer button situated to the right/bottom of the Rev counter
--- Switch on the ignition
The display begins a 10 second countdown.
--- Keep the Button pressed for 10 seconds

The display shows [=0] and the service indicator (spanner) disappears

As for no manual from Motorpoint, mine did turn up - eventually - after 2 months.

Good luck! Pauline

hi bugsymoran to reset the spanner symbol keep hold of the left hand button below the rev counter for 10seconds and that should should clear the service indicator (spanner symbol) and also reset the service interval.
