The last I heard, she was missing the two huge wooden wheels that go at the back to winch the ladder up/down. Apart from that, she's in v good shape - when I was at college (no jokes about how time flies please Erm!), we used to take her to pump from the Thames in Richmond :grin: Sigh, so I had my first taste of open top motoring in 1982 :lol:

Nice to see the Bedford TK Rob. Got one meself. Like driving it nearly as much as the CC but I wish it had PAS!!!!! Good for building up the biceps though.

It's a Bedford TK but not a fire engine I'm afraid. Just plain common or garden horse taxi. 6 Cylinder, 5 speed box. Someone once asked me where I locked it up!! Cab is looking a bit ropey these days but it runs like a dream. Someone once suggested I had it converted to run with just one 12v battery but ignored them and left it on 24v and it starts every time even in the depths of winter after being stood for 6 weeks!!!

Oh no I'm starting to ramble please stop me. It's just so exciting.
