you will only be able to have a GB or Euro badge on the side

I have my border/logo made up like this - even took a print out to the old bill to pass to traffic to pre-approve (didnt tell em my reg incase they were conning me - just put A123 ABC on it)

Course, the spacing on my plate ois a grey area! ;) but at least i can say the border is OK if they try to stop me! :D http://www.fancyplates.com/step1.php?fr ... ot&logo=no

I know that we see alot of number plates that have the screw placed to make another latter or number but this is not within the law and the police can stop you and i think they can fine you and request that the plate be changed.
It ain't a request ;)

My mate took his plates some place after he got them made up and has the letters changed round how he wanted them...obviously illegal but it looks good lol
Seems the DVLA are people to go through.
Theres some good advice on this post now for people wanting some more information on private plates, like myself...thanks.

I went to the DVLA auction on 2nd November 2003. My plates were with me by early december and that specific border was submitted at dover police station for passing to the traffic department. On the 12th November 2003 i was told by an officer from Dover police station that the borders were fine, but that i should remember to ensure that the plate was legally spaced (OK so i forgot THAT bit! ;) :D )

It's a shame really that people put screws in/shading round the letter/squish numbers & letters together coz if they didnt the rest of us who actually pay the extra to get the right numbers/letters in the first place wouldnt have to deal with this shite! I could have got mine for a lot cheaper if i'd needed screws etc to make it look like i wanted it to, but it wouldnt have looked half as good and i wouldnt have been able to honestly say i didnt see the problem. Most (quality) private plate actually make the car MORE identifiable (ie CRA 1Gspaced as CRA1G is more obvious and easier to remember ;) )
