Hope your Mum is making good progress, Lyndon.

I was out of it on morphine for a week in hospital before my back op - I only remember one very wacky dream!

Remember she is in the best place being looked after by the best people. Just remember to look after yourself too.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Pete, too.

thank you all once again :D

the good news is yesterday she opened her eyes, can nod/shake her head to a few questions and is breathing by herself but still as the tube in her mouth just incase, should take it out hopefully today, still on morphene but slowly they are reducing the amount, so all in all she's coming on leaps n bounds :D

Get Well Soon Lyndon's Mum.
Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you.

Best wishes to everyone who's having a sh*t time right now.

My Nan gave me a hefty contribution to get my CC last year, she loved it, thought it was a proper head turner and had a fair few spins in it.
When she gave me the money, she insisted I bought something *frivolous* with it.....

She had a brief spell in hospital last September, when she came out she complained she was fed up of being indoors, hubby took the CC, dropped the roof and whizzed her down the A52!

I remember her walking up the path, laughing her head off, she said to me "That was medicine money can't buy".

Sadly she died on 21st November last year.

I hope this doesn't sound naff, but I always think of her when I've got the roof down and I'm whizzing along.

Sammy
