Thanks.
I will ask them to do another upgrade.... The problem I have they have shut the Peugeot dealers in Ashford, Kent and I have to drive to Maidstone everytime it goes in, and the traffic is TERRIBLE
Still love the car though

Re: Oil Levels / Noisy engine
I had issue with my oil level indicator. I took the sensor off the car, cleaned it out with GUNK® and it worked okay for a few months, then faulty again. I changed the engine oil on a service and flushed the engine, cleaned out the sensor again with GUNK® and it has been okay now for 8,000 miles.

Re: Oil Levels / Noisy engine
If it's the oil level sensor then not having it connected wouldn't be an issue as long as you check the oil with the dipstick regularly. But then I'd recommend that anyway. Even after a full oil change with new filter the level indicator in the gauge shows low on ours so I've told my daughter not to rely on it.
If it's the oil PRESSURE sensor then it's important to have that working .. run the engine on low pressure for any length of time and the damage is to the internals. Running on low or old oil is the main cause ...
T_J: You mention the engine is noisy .. in what way? When cold or hot? Tapping or heavier clunking sounds?
It could be the oil needs replacing.

Oops ... it's either fixed or the car isn't around ... although to be fair, wales1975 triggered it first! :-)
