have had my peugeot 206cc for 5 years bought it brand new
now this is the 2nd time my roof had to be manually closed.
however this time i have closed the roof following the steps. but when i drive this annoying bleeping noise continues until i become stationery or slow down to 5mph.
i have looked at my car and it looKs as though the boot is not laying flat. where the seal is its not sealing down firmly.
i'm not a mechanic but i'm assuming that its something to do with the pressure. but i have turned the hole in the back of the car with the alan key. but no joy.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

lock car and keave for ten mins for bsi to go to sleep(power latch)
go out and try again. i should start working again :)
fingers crossed.
I'm having the exact same issue. not really sure "why" I pulled the key form the ignition, but I guess it's one of those "really, really stupid thing you should never do" but I did.

Anyway, please can you be more specific with the "catches" mention. I don't understand that. Did you mena latches? If yes, which ones? My roof is now settled in the boot. Where does it have latches there?

Please get back to me as I want to avoid driving all the way to Peugeot...

Thanks!!!

hi thanks for your reply.
what you suggested i do i have already done.
however somoen i met knew what the problem was. when closing your boot the last stage before you turn the white clips. there are some "latches" excuse me not catches. they were not locking on onto the boot.
he held this into place whilst i clsed the boot shut. and guess what that anoying bleeping noise has stoppped.
but the boot does not open. so his gonna have a look at for me this week. i will keep you posted

Well, it seems that little trick didn't work.

Took the car to Peugeot Service. had to leave it overnight, because I took it in too late, but picked it up the next day.

All fixed and ready to go for €44, which - I gather - is a great price.

So, Kudos to Peugeot Service in Gerakas, Athens - Greece!
