I've got a Clifford 500 alarm and...

If the doors open when the engine is running (eg scared passenger trying to get out or scarey villain trying to get in), I have to tap in a secret PIN in a secret pad to stop the alarm going ballistic.

In fact, the ballistic bit comes later - 30 seconds later or just after the brakes are applied, whichever is sooner. And the fuel is cut off too, so I should find my car 100yds down the road (torched or bashed with an iron bar!) but at least it won't get them too far :grin:

Yeah the car jacking sucks, but i mean it happens to all cars not just convertables, i spose it makes you a more vulnerable target

Oh my god, thats terrible. Glad to hear your okay and well done for staying calm and most importantly locking your doors. Think I would just panic and freeze.
