I'm up for anything as long as I get to meet everyone on here. I suppose Alton Towers would be easy to get to and they have some great rides there. Any other of the suggestions would be cool too.

Whatever! :P

Well without pre-empting anything, seems Alton Towers is very popular. I am most certainly up for that! ( Have I said that before? Oh well never mind.)

Ok I have had a play with autoroute and York is WAAAAAYYY too far.
Alton Towers is just about bearable!
So my vote is Alton Towers.

When (what month) is preferable???
March/April again?

April is good. If the poll charting our ages is to be believed, I become an 'old bugger' on 8th April. So you may have to give me more time to get from my front door to the car.

Julia!!!

York way too far! I drove a similar distance on Sunday to Southern meet. Don't need much of an excuse to drive me CC a long way. 8)

What about Alton Towers Sunday and overnight stay in Yorkshire on Saturday for those that want it. That way we can all have a socialise rather than "Starbursting" (to quote Paul_3yk) and a drink - which we can't do usually due to the driving situation.

I don't think it would take too long to drive to Alton Towers from here.
