I was reading the verdict on a recent court case (well what else do you do on night shifts when the TV aint working).

A man was trying to sue his neighbour for damage to his cars paint work caused by their cat. The case was thrown out as the cats owner cat be held responsible for its cats actions.

This now sets a presedence for similar court cases. So the moral of the story is, if your neighbours cat scratches your car. Either sleep with their wife or just kill the cat, mince it up and stuff it into the cars heater vents ready for a nice warm day (only kidding if Mr RSPCA is reading).

Rob, that is an interesting presedence, I wonder if there has been any appeal lodged?

If not, think I may throw a blanket over my car when not in use.

Or you could make a handy cat trap using an old chest freezer (what do you mean you don't have an old chest freezer lying around the house? ;)) a mackerel, or other similar wet fish a small stick and some string.

Or you could just buy a water pistol (or get a dog) ;)

shooting it would be quicker and the wheelie bin would be a lot quicker than the freezer and still be funny

derek

p.s. still like the freezer idea though

sorry, i was after the 206cc forum but seemed to have stumbled across "www.feline-torturing.com".....it is strangely compelling though. When i was a kid i think the most imaginative thing was to put them in a hessian sack and throw them in a stream. Although i do recollect something involving fireworks....

I can see that some of us have had a misspent youth

PS. Is that really you Lyndon, or my neighbours cat walking across the computer keys?
