ooo no definately not. new MR2s are definately not as good as the old MR2s.
Depends what you mean by "old" MR2s. If you mean the Mk2 ones that look a bit like Ferraris, I disagree. If you mean the Mk1 ones (AW11) that have 1.6s then I agree. I keep thinking about an AW11 MR2 as a track-day tool, but they're a nightmare to work on
PS: I only suggested all these other cars because I was under the impression the OP already had a 206CC and fancied a change

Really like the silver mr2's. Thery're supposed to be pretty reliable, so I don't think i'd be as worried bout gettin one out of warranty. Might even spend less than i was thinkin bout spending on a cc. air con, leather, cd player & a gorgeous, reliable car for under £11k. Not bad if you ask me
Am swayin back to the MR2. Keep seeing them around & they turn my head more than the cc now. All I see when I see the latter is a whole lot of trouble & expense!
I went for the plunge and ordered myself a Mini Cooper Convertible about a month ago. I'm on a waiting list until November and sold my 1.6 206 CC for £9,000 back to my local Peugeot dealer, its been on the market for about a month and I had absolutely no takers and had no other choice. A loss of £6,000 in 2 years for a car which is immaculate with 12K miles on the clock is revolting I think.
Good luck trying to decide on what car to get Danielle! From now until November I will be driving my boyfriends Mercedes Smart Car!!!!!
