Water comes into the car and lands on the seats when its raining when you open the doors. Clearly a desing fault. Neither Peugeot or the dealer want to know.

Drivers seat slips everytime you brake.Dealer hasn't managed to fix this yet.

Passenger seat wont stay upright. Dealer supposedly fixed but it still does it.

Radio wont keep preset channels - dealer replaced aerial mounting but it still does it!

Fuel filling - have never been able to fill the tank full. Dealer replaced the tank but it is still the same.

Faulty brake pads - car is now unsafe to drive and is off the road for 2 weeks!

I hate this car and want my money back - but neither peugeot or the dealer want to know!

Day after collection, tried altering drivers seat position (backwards). Something "clunked" and seat back didn't lock in and was freely moving forwards and backwards (just the seat back not the whole seat) Unfortunately happened just as i was about to board ferry to Holland, so had to drive from Holland to Hannover with my sports bag wedged on back seat to support me!!! Easter Bank Holiday weekend as well, wife itching to drive new car but unable due to this prob. Tues morning about to take to dealer when the seat miraculously fixed itself and locked in. no further problems....yet!

If headlights turned on then engine starts the digital heater/aircon screen goes blank.
Had a popping sound then all the dials stopped working, so no speedo mileage etc
Heating and Air Con did not work although screen was displayed.
Driver seat would not adjust.

Rear sear has come away from where it should be fixed so there is a gap, no sure if it was like this when I collected it. Aint been to garage to have it fixed yet.

All dials & lights went dead whilst tootling on motorway at 70mph. Fixed on 1st attempt (at least it hasn't happened again) by software update.

Overall - a great car & very happy with it. Squeaking windows etc are just part of the fun.

On closing roof, rear windows stayed opened and didnt go back up had to physically give it a tug, it worked, havent been to dealers been away for a couple of months so dont know any other probs.

Overall - always have complaints but when i start driving i dont wanna leave it. Brill car to look to drive though very noisey tho rattling and squeeks

(1)Peugeot refused to fix brake squeal under the cars warranty. Two days after the repairs were made the problem arrose once again. I believe this proves that wear and tear is not a factor and that the car should have been repaired under warranty as there is evidentally a fault. As of today (01/05/02) I am about to contest this issue. I require the money I paid for the repair to be returned. I also require the fault to be fixed to my satisfaction.

Further more having called the customer help line at peugeot I was put on hold. I refuse to hold at my cost when I am dealing with an issue which is my fault. The service offered to take a message so that someone could return my call. Having left a message with my full details and number I have not yet recieved a call back 2 weeks later.

This in my opinion all counts for Bad customer service.

(2) Rear drivers side quarter window sticking whilst being raised. It always needed a tug to help it past the point at which it jammed. Fixed by dealer at first service.

Indicators regularly failed to work (especially the left). Visited dealer who reported that the car need a new COM2000 unit (something which control all the lights functions). Waited 2 weeks for a part and had to drive car with no indicators during this time. When part finally arrived and was fitted the car was fine.

Brakes squealing like pigs to the point where it was embarrasing! Took car to dealer who investigated and cleaned and dressed the brakes and callipers and have had no further problems.

Oh....and I've got a squeaky seatbelt which drives me mad!!

Machine makes a squizing noise when starts and some times when is idle.The customer service and after sales support in Greece is discasting.

RDS Radio stations sometimes 'change' by themselves, i.e. Heart stored in memory 1 and when you flick stations to memory 4 for example then change back to memory 1 it has changed to Magic stored in that preset! for example

Carpet comes away at drivers side
My wife swears that the passenger seat is not straight (will be checked on
6 month service.)

My car was bought as an Import from a non Peugeot garage.I understand that
there is a new European law which
gives an automatic 2 year warranty. Is this true.
