Hello,

This is my 1st post :)

Please, advise me in getting a new radio to my 2002 2.0 206 CC.
The original unit a clarion RD3-01 just stops working, similar problems to the ones i've found browsing the forum.. no FM/AM, CD in the morning only plays after a few minutes of engine running.. etc etc...
Due to those problems i decide to replace the unit, now here comes my problem...
Which unit should i buy (must read mp3)?
I don't want to loose the car display, and the steering controls... and i don't know how to see if the car is "multiplexed" or not... is the connects2 solution real good? what about the head units? i don't want to spend more than 250€ and i want a simple and discrete one, because to expensive radios call the thefts attention!

Thanks very much for all your attention!

Regards,

João.

hia.
yes your car is multiplexed, you prob wont be able to use the origanal car display with new stereo, and you can get little interfaces which can make your radio stalk work with aftermarket stereos.
also advice going dealer so they can deconfigure the original stereo off the multiplex network.this should revert your wiring back to oldie worldie live and earth wires, and also stop your new stereo from confusing the van comfort network.
hope this helps? :)
