Spanner symbol on Dash

Hi All.

I took delivery of my cc se on Thu. Hooray! (Only been waiting since May!).

Of course it has come with no handbook, so I have no idea why a spanner symbol is being displayed on the dash (next to the odomoter), and has been since delivery.

Any knowledge greatly appreciated.

that tells u the number of KMS/Miles till next service!!!!:)

It does display like Farouk said when you first start the car and tells you how long until the next service.

If it displays constantly then take it to the dealer, it means there is a problem.

I have typed up the service indicator page exactly from the manual. Please note that the mileages on example 2 don't add up. This is as typed in the manual. Common sense explains their addition errors though.

SERVICE INDICATOR

This informs you when the next service is due, according to the manufacturerâ€™s servicing schedule.

Operation

As soon as the ignition is switched on, and for 2 seconds (if the next service is due after more that 1000 miles) or 5 seconds (if the next service is due within 1000 miles) the spanner symbolising â€œservice dueâ€
