help needed with 206 gti radio plzzzzzzz

hi all great site hope someone can help me i have just been to pick my car up from the accident repair center after a drivers side rear accident they done a great job of the bodywork but now the radio as no sound coming from it theres power there and says all the volume is working but no sound coming out of any speakers. i have read that there is a amp in the car somewhere does anyone know where it is located i have left the car there but i dont thing they are very intrested in doing it can anyone help please
