The front driver's seat in my wife's 2001 206cc has packed up working properly on the runners and only goes about half way back.
I have found a loose very small (5mm long) spring which I suspect is the cause of the problem. i dont seem to be able to 'force' the seat back at all. As a consequence I have to drive it very hunched up!
My local independant Peugeot garage says the only answer is a new seat.
I have seen complete leather interiors on ebay but all it really needs is the Driver's seat.
Is there anyone out there with a Drivers's seat in full working order, without damaged upholstery, including airbag, reclines properly and most impiortnatly runs on the runners to the full extent! It is in black cloth with the seat panels in a small blue and black check pattern. The blue bits are raised and are sort of plasticky.
I am based in North Yorkshire and would prefer something local if at all possible.
