my friends 2002 cc has an intermittent fault with the nearside rear lamp cluster, it will work for a few weeks then wont work for a few weeks, sometimes if you give it a tap/clout it works again for a while.
she took it for mot today and it failed on the rear lamp not working, she has been told its the bsi unit needing replacing and will set her back £650 inc the mot and a quick service.
i have looked at another 206 cc and everything seems identical with testing etc of the wires, she does not want to spend that much on a bsi unit and i dont actually think that the bsi unit is at fault, has anybody had this problem before?
