Roof switch!

HI,

I am after the roof switch if anyone has one or breaking for spares...i broke mine off i thinkf ro excessive wear!

the rest is fine just need the switch ...dont really wanna pay £35 ebay prices for one!!

its a 2001 if that makes any difference??

I guess thats what your talking about...
Always worth a try on here, but I would have it a guess it depends how badly you want it fixed to what you pay.

I tried these http://www.1stchoice.co.uk/ and got many responses for my MFD (Multi Function Display) but you can always bet if someone knows you need the part you 9 times out of 10 willing to pay silly prices.
Could also try ringing your local breakers yards, could stumble across it cheaper.

i know thats why i refuse to pay it

a tenner....

ill make one out some matchsticks and pva glue :/

grrr tilkl then ill have to hold it down but it hurts my finger as your not suppose to stop the roof if it is mid flow r u?

Ideally you are not supposed to stop it. The most important thing IMO is to to try not to interrupt the power i.e. by turning on/off the ignition, turning on the radio, even opening the glove compartment while the roof is doing its thing.

If you are struggling to find the part I would be happy to collect one from a breakers near me and would post it to you...I wouldn't charge a tenner!!!!

If you could enquire for a 2001 Encran MFD too I would be much obliged, no one round here has a 206cc in their yard

1st choice want silly money and my year come and go on ebay and some at silly prices, I wont pay £100+ because mine not that bad and I dont miss it

I have got a few odd bits for my 206 cc from him at very reasonable prices.

He has his telephone number on his ebay ads and if you call him and say what part you need he will probably have it and give you a quote. Everything I have bought from him has come in the post promptly.
