I recently bought a 1999 206 model with 137k wife as a starter car(':mfight:',%20'');. Soon enough I have find out that the rear axle bearing is gone(':mfight:',%20'');. Few days ago the car started to accelerate on its own when I wait on the red light on the neutral. I usually turn off the engine and start again after few sekunds. This makes the problem to disappear for a while. This problem also occurs while on the move. It then resembles an activated cruise control. I find this considerably hazardous for a learning driver. Can anyone please advise?
