Im taking the plunge !

A few weeks ago I mad a post saying that if I got this new job I went for I would buy a cc. Well, I got the job and so Im giong to do it.

I have my heart set on a 2.0 SE with full black leather. List Price with metallic paint is £17,170 I believe.

I was just wondering how much you all think I should be able to get a Peugeot dealer down to (if I take up the standard finance option for the majority of it?)

I would be grateful for your opinions.

Doubt you'll get anything off the price, but you might gets mats, windstop etc thrown in if you haggle. They don't really need to reduce prices while there's a waiting list plus the margin they make isn't that big as it is.

If you're buying it through PSA finance, make sure you get a good deal on the APR though.

i second what rachel said.

when haggling with my dealer, i wasn't getting the trade-in price i expected due to lack of discounts but if i was to use their finance i thing they offered me a rate of something like 5.9%APR.

as i wasn't using finance it wasn't a lot of use to me but most dealers will give you that offer.

Why don't you look what price the imports are and quote them to the dealer. After all they will want your custom and may reduce the price to keep it.
I did that when I bought my S, and they reduced the price to 14,895, with full leather, alloys and metallic paint.
