Hi I am new and would like to ask for help. My wife has an 04 206cc and it has just developed a beeping alarm which I think sounds like the seat belt although it may be something else alarm . The alarm is staying on when the seat belt is on. There is no warning light on and the alarm goes off at slow speeds, about walking pace. If you leave the seat belt off it does exactly the same so that is why i think it is the seat belt alarm.
Can anybody tell me is it a central control unit or does it have a sensor in the seat belt clasp any help welcome or could it possibly be anything else?
I am quite capable but dont know much about this car and could do with advice before I start taking seats out etc
I put this in the wrong forum so have moved it
Thanks for your help
Geoff

Are you sure your bonnet is closed firmly or the "bonnet open" warning switch is working properly?
