Put in a virgin unit and trailered it down to Citroen dealer to reprog.
All OK, but now got immobiliser fault which I have traced to the to under bonnet fuse box.
ENOUGH!! It's Saturday, so I got on with some work I'm doing on my Corvette.
A few week back I dropped the chassis out to sandblast and repaint it (it's 31 years old) and one thing leads to another (as it does) and having seen the standard of the factory welding, I decided to do the mods that the Corvette race teams did to the race cars. This includes seam welding the chassis, and strengthening the suspension and steering attatchment points.
Today I finished the welding and can now send it off to the sandblasters. Yay! 12 hours of welding!!!
