Hydraulic tappett replacemnt
Has anybody changed the hydraulic tappets on a 2.0ltr petrol engine? I am told these are faulty on my car because the engine misfires on start-up but clears after 20-30 seconds. Tried all the usual additives but it made no differance. It appears to be a big job? Thanks

Re: Hydraulic tappett replacemnt
It's not too bad to do - just very costly. The cams have to be removed so worth doing the cam belt and pullies as well as water pump at the same time (or live with it)
Cheers Col.
