hey guys! please help :)

Post by vikky »

Hi everyone, I'm a little bit confused if not a lot, to be honest don't know much about cars, but would like to ask a question regarding headlights as my ones completely going yellow colour now, weird but again car is 15 years old.
So the silly question is, as I'm going to buy new set of headlights I'm not completely sure if the ones I'll buy will for my car, is there anything I need to look out for apart from years mentioned and make of car ? I've got Peugeot 206 V reg 2000, and really would like something different that I've seen on eBay, might as well treat my old bird
Any idea if this Will fit ???? That's all information I have on them :)

Well the year range is correct. So long as they are correctly "E" marked you should be fine. Beware though, ebay has a lot of poor quality or fake items.
I would fit them and take the car down to an MOT station to check beam pattern while you still have time to return them if they are faulty. you don't want to wait 6 months (or whenever your MOT is due) to find out they are no good.
Cheers Col.

E-approved {E marked road legal} ... no E mark means they are ILLEGAL for use on UK and European roads.

Careful also on fleabay .. they sell LHD light units which can't be converted.

The forum members on 206info would probably know more and who not to buy from ...
