Hi Everyone ,
Hello,to all on the Forum
Just bought myself a 206cc 05 plate convertable in blue from close friends..1.6. Need few things correcting on it..most inportant is the ESP/ASR warning light is on on the display...also when driving the central locking keeps making a noise like open n close clicking.

Re: Hi Everyone ,
Welcome to the forum Trudy.
When the car battery on a 206cc is discharged or nearing the end of its life this can throw up spurious fault codes and cause the car to lock and unlock spontaneously. How old is the battery on your car?
If someone has replaced the original battery with the wrong one (eg. the shorter 175mm tall battery intended for the hatchback) this can cause connectivity problems too and throw up faults and clicking noises. The correct battery should be 190mm tall.
I am not saying that this is definitely the cause of your symptoms but it is worth checking out. Be careful, there is a correct procedure for disconnecting/reconnecting the battery. Ignore it at your peril! http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/viewtopic ... 23&t=13473
